@detroittreasurehunter: We inherited this old property under one condition we have to fix it up. The catch is when we started to fix it up early into the demo phase of the renovation project. When we opened up the walls they were filled up with tons of old antiques! And now that the square footage has literally doubled. We’re dealing with well over 16,000 ft.² now The project has grown massive in size and is nearly overwhelming! This property was built over 150 years ago and at one point was a funeral home for over 50 years, but that’s not all it was. We have located many different hidden rooms inside of the property a carriage house with a tunnel leading to the main building and beyond there is also a speakeasy in the basement that was functional in the 1920s, followed to see this entire property and hear all of the stories that we have been told and check out some of the great historic items that we found within the walls #History #thisoldhouse #coolplaces #realestate #iconic
