you have to understand that they are files and when the abstract they became corrupted files, to fix it they would either take backup files or change the format of it meaning that they would either change the files or they would lose data(memories)

I'm just gonna think that since Caine came back and revealed a lot of stuff he also revealed off camera that he can bring the abstracted people back, kinger is happy with his wife, zooble and gangle are happy, pomni and jax kiss, and jax is friends with ribbit and Kaufmo again, and ragatha finds someone to love and everyone is happy. canon in my book

Ahh. I'n so split about the finale. Like yes. It wasn't bad but the more time passes, the more I'm finding myself I wish I'd seen more? I wanted to see an abstraction. I wanted to see more of the characters interacting with each other. We didn't see the whole outside space of the circus yet and so on and so on. Aaahhhh. Fan content make me happy pls.

Something even sadder is that they technicly could. As we see Caine still had their brain scan files, if they are backed up or like the original scan is still in the system, he could technicly just boot up their file again and Get them back. But that would be the original scan. None of the memories they had made in the circus would be apart of those files. It would be like dropping them in all over again

I'm pretty sure abstraction is supposed to be suicide. Suicide is very final, no coming back. So it would entirely defeat the purpose if they reversed it
