I can’t put into words how disappointed I am. There are so many plot holes, and now a lot of the buildup from previous episodes doesn’t even make sense. The C&A lore was never properly explained. The Blue AI/Abel reveal was barely a reveal at all. The whole Scratch and og developers storyline went nowhere. Caine’s arc was rushed and underdeveloped. We got no Kinger backstory, no meaningful Kinger and Caine interactions, and absolutely no payoff for all the symbolism and foreshadowing from earlier episodes (like the Intermission time scene). Bubble’s sudden absence was never explained. Kinger’s amnesia was never explained. Kinger’s line about the first abstraction and Caine’s reaction to it make no sense in hindsight. We didn’t even get any real hints about Caine’s full backstory despite ep8 raising a ton of questions, like why he was trained on circus photos and fun-themed content in the first place, or whether the Blue AI was trained differently. Why was the Blue AI evil? Why was he the one who resented humans? What was the point of all the blue/red symbolism, including Kinger saying he preferred blue? How did the real-life Kinger and Scratch realize their plan had failed, and why did they just abandon a fully functional computer and headset in the office? Why did they give up on the project at all? And who is even keeping this whole thing running in the real world? Who’s paying the electricity bill for an abandoned building? What was the point of the bee symbolism throughout the show, including the ep9 poster? What was the point of hinting at a seventh person in the circus (“7 lucid humans” on Caine’s map during the exit adventure)? Instead of using the runtime to answer even a HANDFUL of these questions, we got the most pointless jaxslop imaginable. The whole thing feels rushed and unfinished to the point where it’s honestly overwhelming.

Goose has said many times that Jax is someone she relates to the most it also makes sense in the story for Jax considering the context clues, so honestly I think this would be classed as canon to me.
