I'm so tired of people acting like gentle parenting is just permissive parenting with a nicer name. It isn't. Gentle parenting doesn't mean saying yes to everything, avoiding consequences, or letting your kids run wild. It means being the adult in the room, setting firm boundaries, holding your children accountable, and leading with respect instead of fear. If there's no authority, no consistency, and no boundaries, that's not gentle parenting. That's permissive parenting. People need to stop confusing the two.
