DAY 9/10 — BRAIN TRAINING 🧠⚡️ Today’s challenge: opposite circles 👆 Extend both index fingers. One hand makes large circles TOWARD your face while the other hand makes large circles AWAY from your face… at the exact same time. Then switch directions 🔥 Here’s the important part 👇 A LOT of people accidentally do this wrong without realizing it. Most people are not actually moving in opposite directions… they just start in different positions while both hands are still rotating the SAME way. How to tell if you’re doing it correctly: ✅ At the TOP of the circle, one finger should be moving toward you while the other is moving away from you. ✅ At the BOTTOM of the circle, they should still be traveling opposite directions. ❌ If both fingers are traveling toward your face at the same time or away from your body at the same time, they are actually matching directions. This drill is powerful because it heavily challenges: • bilateral coordination • motor planning • spatial awareness • attention + focus • communication between both hemispheres of the brain Your brain naturally wants synchronized mirrored movement because it’s more efficient. So forcing each hand to move in truly opposite patterns creates a much higher neurological demand. This strengthens neuroplasticity, your brain’s ability to adapt, learn, and form new pathways. Exercises like this can support: 🧠 coordination 🧠 reaction time 🧠 cognitive flexibility 🧠 focus + body awareness 🧠 brain-body connection And because the hands/fingers take up SO much space in the motor cortex, these small movements create surprisingly large brain activation 🔥 ⏱️ Practice for 30–60 seconds at a time 🗓️ Aim for a total of 10–15 minutes of brain training exercises 3–5x/week and build from there. Now be honest… did your brain short-circuit halfway through?
