@hakoblorenzo: Designed as more than a simple waiting shed, this concept explores how architecture can transform everyday public spaces into comfortable, sustainable, and meaningful experiences. The timber structural language draws inspiration from the iconic West Kowloon Bamboo Pavilion in Hong Kong, reinterpreting its expressive lattice framework into a contemporary transit shelter. Through a modular wooden system and layered louvered screens, the design creates a distinctive architectural identity while providing shade, protection, and visual permeability. The sculpted roof form filters natural daylight and offers shelter from sun and rain, creating a welcoming environment for daily commuters. The design prioritizes natural ventilation, openness, and a strong connection to nature. Permeable walls encourage continuous airflow, reducing heat buildup while enhancing user comfort in tropical climates. Exposed timber joinery, translucent roofing panels, and passive environmental strategies celebrate craftsmanship and sustainability while maintaining a light architectural footprint. Integrated within a landscape of trees and greenery, the waiting shed becomes more than a transportation stop—it becomes a small urban sanctuary where architecture, nature, and community intersect. #architectural #architecture #archviz #architecturaldesign #architecturelovers
