PLAY TIME 🏐🏝️ At our Fitness & Embodiment retreats, play isn’t a “nice extra” — it’s essential. Play is one of the most powerful gateways into a happy, healthy, embodied life. It’s how we learned to move, explore, connect, and express ourselves as children… and then somewhere along the way, many of us got way too serious about life 😂 On our retreat, play shows up through movement, games, friendly competition, sport, laughter, and spontaneous moments of joy. This year we had a lot of fun with a volleyball match - not to prove anything, but to feel alive. There’s something deeply human about play: •	Competing without ego •	Moving with intensity and lightness •	Feeling your physical edge while staying connected to others •	Being fully in your body, in nature, in the moment Play helps bring us out of our heads and back into embodiment. It’s not just about games or sports — it’s also a playful attitude towards life itself. Finding humour in challenge. Letting things be imperfect. Holding life lightly while still showing up sincerely. Sincere, not serious 😜👍 I’ve noticed that when I allow myself to play more, I spend far less time overthinking the future or replaying the past — and far more time in the present moment. And presence is where flow lives! At the retreat, play becomes a portal: •	Into community and shared experience •	Into healthy competitiveness that sharpens rather than separates •	Into trusting your body again •	Into joy, laughter, and aliveness •	Into remembering that movement is meant to feel good So this is your reminder to honour and reconnect with your inner child. To give yourself permission to move, laugh, sweat, compete, explore, and enjoy. To remember that joy isn’t a reward — it’s the point! We are allowed to play. It’s what life — and the body — are designed for. ✨ These are just some of the elements we explore on our retreat, so if this speaks to you, applications are now open for our Fitness & Embodiment Retreats in June & September 2026.
