The honest to god right way, is to wash it, iron remover, clay bar, that way there is no contamination on your panel, when the clay bar just glides and feels smooth your good, if you wet sand before all of that, you end up working contaminates into the clear, next step is wet sand and wipe down with a clean microfiber, next your ready for buffing, if you use a heavy cut pad micro maring (the swirls left over) is normal and can be taken out with a less agressive pad, example if you start with a heavy cut pad, you get all your big sanding scratches out and your left with a okay finish with swirls, next step buff with a medium cut pad, it’ll still leave micro maring but it’ll get all of the heavy cut micro maring out, next step is to buff to with fine cut pad, this will get all the swirls and micro maring out and leave kind of hazy finish on the pannel, next step is to polish, polish will remove the hazy film left over and give it that new car shine, polish as needed and along with any other step, (sometimes it takes a few passes especially for deep scratches) make sure to have a long throw polisher it helps speed up the process a lot and patience is key lol, like anything else it gets better the more you do it, watch your edges, don’t stay in one spot to long and make sure your buffer is always spinning off a edge to reduce the chance of burn threw, hope you see the comment lol
