I really wanted to direct, film and edit my own music video so I asked Rana, a random girl a saw at Shinjuku station if she’d want to be in a music video. She seemed skeptical at first but agreed. She doesn’t speak English so it was a challenge to explain everything in Japanese including my anonymous identity. The next day I went to find a boy that would work well on screen with Rana. I found Shota on his walk home from university and knew he would match perfectly. Neither of them had ever acted or been in a music video before so this is their on screen debut.
