@mindfullymademotherhood: Homemade Snickers ⬇️ Store-bought candy is often loaded with artificial flavors, preservatives, and ingredients I can’t even pronounce. This version uses simple ingredients you probably already have at home and honestly tastes amazing. Shortbread Layer -1½ cups almond flour -¼ cup maple syrup -¼ cup melted coconut oil -1 tsp vanilla extract Mix together and press into a parchment-lined 8x8 pan. Bake at 350°F for 12 minutes. Let cool completely. Caramel Layer -10 dates, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes and drained -½–¾ cup coconut milk -1 tsp vanilla extract -2 tbsp peanut butter Blend until smooth. Add more or less coconut milk depending on your desired consistency. Spread over the cooled shortbread. Top with a layer of peanuts and freeze until firm. Chocolate Coating -Chocolate chips -1 tsp coconut oil Cut into candy bar-sized pieces. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together, dip each bar, then place back in the freezer until set. Store in the fridge or freezer and enjoy! #momhacks #toddlersnacks #kidsnacks
