Course selling and mentorships aren’t inherently bad. The reality is everyone can’t do it. Not everyone has the experience, track record, or results to teach from. The problem isn’t education it’s people pretending to have something they haven’t earned.
A lot of people label online money as a scam because they’ve never had the ambition to pursue something greater than the environment they were born into. Most athletes I know naturally gravitate toward competitive industries whether that’s trading, sales, etc because competition never leaves. Ironically, you’ll often have people who have never taken those risks, never faced adversity, and never built anything telling you what’s right and wrong. They’ll call it luck, say it’s impossible, or drag entitlement into the conversation.
Do I believe luck plays a role in trading? Sure. There are factors outside of your control. But luck alone doesn’t sustain profitability. Skill, risk management, and repetition do. And if you stay in the game long enough, continue learning, and refuse to quit, opportunities are bound to present themselves.
