They were in entirely different contexts. Pomni wanted to know she meant something to Jax. This scene only further reinforces that she might've meant something, but it was viewed as nothing more than torment from Jax's perspective. Yet he kept inserting himself in these situations and TALKING to pomni. Every person in that circus TRIED real hard to be nice to him. He's jus a psycho who dreams about choking ppl 😭

This unironically is a good parallel to how people treat irl abuse. Like with Pomni it’s “comedic” only because he was strong enough to stop her. (In this case he’s playing the role of the man) but with Jax it’s crazy because she actually couldn’t stop him
