Idk why, but the fact that Ribbit specifically makes her bowtie a regular bow for Jax kinda hits different to me. Like she's turning something typically seen as masculine (or at least it used to be) into something feminine. What also adds to this is the fact that, if I remember correctly, Ribbit goes by she/they pronouns- they could also be some degree of trans (ex. demigirl), which would help them better understand Jax's internal conflict. By giving Jax something of her's- especially something that could potentially be seen as a bit "gender freaky" by itself- it could not only be Ribbit saying "I see you and accept you", but also saying "I understand how you feel and have been there myself, I can use my experience with my gender identity to help you come to terms with yours". Almost like what Zooble tried to do.

I may not love jax as a character or the direction glitch and goose took tadc nearing the end but I do think she is a very accurate and frankly devastating perspective on being trans, her story similar to my life but without the rage because im mostly out proud and supported, that doesnt mean my life hasn't had a very similar level of pain and rejection though. im literally tearing up after this video, i feel a lot of empathy for her, i may not understand the level of hatred and the rage she displays but I empathize with it even if it may be in a different way. jax tadc they can never make me form a solid opinion on you 💔💔💔
