So the reason most standard models come with LFP because charging it to 80% would give you like 150 miles lmao💀😂charging to 100% gives better range to the standard models

Anyone who has a standard range 2021 and below should HOPE that it fails under warranty. For that specific model, Tesla will replace it with the new lfp pack AND upgrade your suspension at the same time (due to the battery being heavier) all under warranty.

Idk how true this is anymore. I had an NMC battery that failed after 64k miles replaced with a LFP battery and it still shows daily/trip bar. I asked them about charging to 100% and they said to still keep it between 20-80.

LFP is the more affordable option without cobalt. NMC is the more expensive battery with cobalt and higher energy density. LFP is however more durable, but technology is way better now and the difference in longevity isn't that different nowadays.
