It’s so hard for me to receive help. I’ve always been a go getter if I don’t do it it’s not getting done. Now I have to wait for it. Thankfully my partner is one hell of a man and stepped up without hesitation.

I know others get tired of hearing about my pain and honestly I get tired of talking about it! I’m tired of just being my illness. 😔 Thankfully my husband and really close friends look past that and just know. They know how to read me without me having to tell them. I don’t know what I did to deserve these amazing people but I’m so thankful for them every day! 🥰

I was so ashamed to file disability because I couldn’t hold a job anymore. I thought my friends were gonna be mad at me and it turns out I wondered why I hadn’t done it earlier. I started working & got RA at 16 and now I’m 58 and just got a third months Disability. I am so relieved. It takes me all morning just to get out of bed and do simple chores. I don’t know how I did it for those 40 yrs of working.

I will pray for you all. May God give you comfort and strength. My daughter has lupus , pots, rheumatoid arthritis. I know she feels a lot like this but always puts on a brave face and makes life as normal as she can for her daughter and husband. I wish I could do more to help her.
