What the actual hell this is so insightful . My stomach probs get so triggered when I overwork myself for other people even though my stomach and me overworking aren’t related really. Thats crazy. I get treatment for my illness soon but that’s wild to see it as showing me this

This really resonates with me. I had major surgery a year and a half ago and I learned how to listen to my body, as a separate conscience sharing my body. It really forced me to reevaluate my whole life. It’s kind of like when you get the flu and suddenly its really easy to cancel plans or just not respond without guilt because your body knows that maintaining social norma is not a priority (and it never was)

I gotta keep deconstructing this because there is a thin line here of blaming someone for being unwell in a society that perpetuates a lot of harm. That causes me tremendous grief. Can I ask you how you navigate this? I ask this with a lot of space for that shadow work.
