It's possible that God created the tree as a way to give Adam and Eve a choice, to allow them to exercise their free will. If God had not given them a choice, they would not have been able to truly love and obey Him. As it says in , "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live."

Because god gave us free will. He hoped they wouldnt but he gave them the choice to betray his trust. Thid is why he sent his only son to die for our sins. God also sends trials to us. Ask for patience he will send you traild to have patience. Ask for strength, he sends your trails to show your strength. ask for wisdom, he sends you trails to be wise. And through it all god never givrs up on us.
