@alexsfoodieadventures: One of my favourite food cities we visited in Italy and I’m so sad it was only a stopover! The food was phenomenal! Must tries are the tortellini in brodo, mortadella, tigelle from tiggelino which are the smaller paninis and only available in bologna, the piadeina from la piadeina is a must and get the adora one with squacquerone which is an ancient, extremely soft and creamy cow's milk cheese native to the Romagna region of Emilia-Romagna where Bologna is. It also has mortadella which is where mortadella originates from. You obviously also have to have the ragu local to this region because it is where bolognese originates from- Da Nello was an absolute highlight for us #bologna #bolognafood #bolognese #italy #italyfood
