This is so disappointing. Boyle Heights deserves better than this. To ask people to stay indoors or use air purifiers if you have them—NO! Do better. Provide more air purifiers. So many people from Boyle Heights/East LA and the surrounding communities are telling everyone that the smoke and air quality is affecting them negatively. Doors closed isn’t helping. The smoke is seeping into people’s homes. The systemic failure here is…so frustrating and sad.
