Lawests Gintama saga is not a bunch of posts it is like a live show that teaches us about how we know things if we really exist and how the world is not always what it seems. Lawest posts things that say stuff about Gintama then things that say good stuff about Gintama and then bad stuff again. This makes people wonder how can we really know what someone thinks? It is like what Descartes said, we can not be sure about anything. The internet starts to doubt everything it sees. Lawest does not want to be known as a guy who likes Gintama or a guy who hates Gintama. He wants to be able to change who he is all the time. He does this by saying things that're opposite of what he said before. Nietzsche would say that Lawest is not bothered by what's true or not he just wants to show that he can make people unsure about things. In the background we can see some ideas from Buddhism like how the labels we give people like Gintama fan or Gintama hater do not mean anything when Lawest changes what he says. Even the idea that nothing really matters, nihilism is here. When Lawest tricks people a lot it gets hard to know what is real. What is not. We can not be sure if someone really likes or dislikes something. All we have is our thoughts about it. So what Lawest did that is really cool is not that he tricked the internet but that he made people think about if we can be sincere in a world where we can not be sure what is real and what is not. He turned an opinion about an anime, Gintama into a big question, about if we can ever really know what someone means.
