jeez I already cracked it. it's a botanical and medical notebook that uses a code style like how html works where different symbols hold whole commands and prompts. the only part I couldn't crack are the exact names of the plants because it's a custom thing the names are unique and not used enough to get a breakdown

we've dated the parchment, but did we date the ink? I know that some parchments were able to be cleaned and reused, I think they were able to see some of the "cleaned" sections under certain types of scans

I already solved it. It’s arranged into 4 main sections the botanical, astrological, biological, and pharmaceutical sections. In addition, one of the first pages (when translated) says “This is a compendium of exotic herbal, medical, and astrological knowledge — plants with healing powers, recipes for remedies, and cosmic influences on health and fertility.”
