The fandom is so toxic when it comes to Billie and the things she’s shared. I don’t blame her for not being as open. They have become so entitled to her personal life and will literally drag her for her own personal choices and say they are “holding her accountable”. And it’s like no, she is her own person and will make her own choices/mistakes. Dragging her for not being the perfect person you envisioned in your head is so weird and parasocial. Just my opinion.

The fandom is starting to crazy and very out of hand like now you can go on finneas or nats tiktok page and now fans see commenting “ok nice now weres billie” or “show us billie” its like bro if you wanna see billie go to her page or when she wants speak up or say and opinion people switch up saying “cancel her she a hypocrite” or “she supports Israel” and the same come running back for her new albums and tours and other celebrities can do or say something the exact and no one cares or they’re praise for it and then they’re people and even some fans saying she queerbaiting the fandom force her to come out as not straight and people still saying that she never labeled herself you can be attracted to both genders but not date the other its like bro…

I remember when she did an interview saying it makes her uncomfortable when fans think they know her, like they'll try to make little inside jokes with her or tease her like her real friends might, and it makes her feel so weird. like they don't understand that they're strangers to her at the end of the day. that interview was sad but I totally understood and always suspected she probably felt that way

People have become so parasocial, toxic and they think their entitled to her personal life. If I was a celebrity I would wanna be the person people look up too and relate to because as a teenager I need that and I’m thankful Billie IS THAT. but it’s also extremely dangerous and difficult when there’s people out there who are constantly watching you. When the people are constantly watching you then it feels like you have no room to breath. The internet constantly takes your words and twists it. My mom always told me If the world is watching you, then you make sure you watch the world too
