@lauren.digitalsales: One thing nobody warned me about? You spend so much time preparing for the arrival of your baby... But very little time preparing for the end of maternity leave. I certainly didn't. I assumed I'd figure it all out when the time came. But when the time came, I just wasn't ready. I wasn't ready to leave my baby. I wasn't ready for how emotional it would feel. And I definitely wasn't ready for the panic of feeling like I had no other options. Because once maternity leave is ending, everything suddenly feels urgent. You start wondering if there's another way. You start wishing you'd started something sooner. Looking back now, if I found out I was pregnant tomorrow, I'd do one thing differently. I'd spend a little bit of that time learning a skill. Not because I'd be trying to build a huge business or to replace my income overnight.. But because I'd want to give myself options. I'd want something quietly ticking away in the background. Something that could fit in around everyday mum life! That's exactly why I started learning about digital products and Canva. Think planners, checklists, invites etc And what made it feel possible for me was learning I could start with ready made products whilst learning everything else in the background and building confidence 🙌 And honestly? It completely changed everything for me.
