But I do think it’s important that we’re aware of how common it has become for photos and videos of children to be stolen from social media and misused online, including being manipulated using AI technology. Having worked with vulnerable children and young people, safeguarding has always been something I take incredibly seriously. Some of the things I’ve seen and heard throughout my career would genuinely break your heart. This isn’t about fearmongering. It’s not about telling anyone what they should or shouldn’t do. It’s simply about making informed choices and understanding the risks that exist online today. The internet can be a wonderful place, but not everybody using it has good intentions. At the end of the day, you do what feels right for your family. I just wanted to raise awareness because I think it’s a conversation worth having ❤️✨
