the 14th century Cathedral that I walk by every day doesn't blow my mind beacuse I see it every day but when I was In US I was really exited to go to target but I also visited museums and landmarks.

also, us Americans always love talking about how huge the United States is. Why don't they consider that now? if someone travels to Los Angeles to watch the world cup, how would they have time to go see the grand canyon??? they probably have a pretty tight schedule already, and the United States is expensive 🤷🏻♀️

When I first visited New York I was excited to see Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, but also excited to go to a diner, get a hot dog off the street and go to a deli. It’s all part of the experience

I've seen the statue of liberty, the empire state, the golden gate bridge, the grand canyon, and plenty of other US landmarks. ... but I also went to Denny's and Waffle House 😂

I've got a castle in my hometown. The city council literally has their meetings inside the former counts dining hall. Yet I wanted to visit Castle Neuschwanstein and Versailles. Why? Because one isn't my hometown castle and the other one is where my nation was founded and the peace treaty that ended the great war was signed.

When I went to the uk I had a Tesco meal deal with a friend and went to a Greg's. Because those things are a bit of a meme and it was fun. Wasn't the only thing I did of course. When friends visit me here by god do they want meatballs

Asa Londoner I’m still in awe of our buildings. Mainly the Houses of Parliament but when I was in the USA I got very excited to see a real school bus because it was something we only see in the movies. It was the little things 😂

i live and work in a touristy area in norway and one of the most common curiosity requests i get from north american tourists is if i can show them all the different bank notes and coins we have. bc theyre colourful and have fun pictures on them! something extremely normal and mundane here, but compared to the american dollar, very interesting to see for them! 🤷🏻♀️
