I believe that Tron Ares would have worked better as Ares: A Tron Story.

I think most fan wanted another movie in the "actual" grid. Tron Ares feels like a spin-off rather than a continuation. Nice seeing the digital world and ours collide but I think most people actually wanted another "journey" in the grid (this movie lacked a lil in this aspect, was more real world-based which kinda kills the magic of these movies) or at least a continuation with the OG characters (Flynn's family). In the end Ares kinda feels like an expansion of the other two movies but it wasn't THAT bad though

Everyone hated tron ares but I loved this movie, I saw it in theaters and I’ve rewatched it a bunch, I know its not a lot like tron and tron legacy but it still has charm and I think it was a great movie

I’m sad some tron fans hated this movie. I think it was amazing and had chills the entire movie. Yes tron legacy was great and no other movie beats it, but ares came quite close

I loved this movie, or so, I love this movie still and no one will convince me otherwise. I don't care much for Jared Leto but he didn't overshadow other characters and didn't come off annoying. he was alright, actually. I loved exploring other grids besides Flynn's. The world building and music was still absolutely amazing
