if you're tracing that curve correctly, you need to make sure your tool stays perpendicular to the board. That's where your tool fails.

Ur pencil was too much extended thats why you get tha gap at the end. All you need is 1/4" on ur pencil, then let ur template actually run on the board. But....still not bad. Its a good tool, i got one, long time now, works well. But the part bout inventry is low is all advertising gimmicks. lol
