It’s staring at a contact in your phone that you’ll never call again. It’s wanting to tell him something and remembering you can’t. It’s hearing everyone say “Don’t forget Father’s Day” when forgetting was never an option. Because grief doesn’t need reminders. It already knows the date. Tomorrow there will be empty chairs. Silent phones. And children of all ages missing the man who helped shape their world. If that’s you… I see you.
