@bethanierose__: So we spent five days in hospital after little Miss was born because of trying to breastfeed also I had gestational diabetes so they wanted to make sure that baby’s blood sugars were okay before we left day five came and went and I pushed to go home, I was told that her blood sugars were low, but they weren’t dangerous. What I wasn’t told was that they were only point one away from being dangerous so of course when I came home I was trying to breastfeed the surroundings were different. She was constantly on and off me didn’t settle which was unusual because she was so good in the hospital in the morning. When I changed her nappy I saw blood crystals in her nappy which I called 111 they said to go to A&E when I got there her blood sugar was 1.1. This was on the extremely low level to where she could’ve been having seizures.
