@blueoxreclaimedlumber: After asking for y’all’s opinions, the first stain samples are coming in. We’ve still got a few more to test, but here’s a look at some of the contenders. Which one are y’all choosing? ⬇️ We’ll also show these once they’re fully finished and sealed so you can see how they really look — and keep y’all posted as more samples come in. We’re getting so close to finally protecting this table and getting it into the house! Happy Saturday, y’all — thanks for being here. @Rubio Monocoat USA @VNC | Wood Finishes Made Clean @Procoat flooring solutions
What are we talking about because all I keep thinking is I need to do some bicep curls 😂👍

Try Ciranova Magic oil in the color Raw, but reclaimed wood with barnwood texture and patina does best with old fashion Paste wax

Maybe you just didn’t show it in the video, but I’m not sure you applied the Rubio properly? It should be buffed in with a non-woven pad, and the within about 10-15 mins all excess needs to be wiped / buffed off.

#4 and #5......everybody has a different opinion on what there version of natural is....for floors and tables I am definitely 4 and 5....I love after everything that has to be applied to protect the wood it has a satin to matt finish.....#4 the way some of the grain showes that black or weathered burnt look is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥.....if i had a real wood floors or a big family table that #4 is my favorite....now #6 is nice to but my vision of it has a redish tent i gess and it may not once fully dry but ya daum brother if I could afford one of your tables old rustic wood in #4 for my kitchen id be on it.....or let's say if that wife would let me spend it🤣🤣 id definitely have you build it💯💯

I Like the last one. I stained my Oak Wood Entertainment Center, similar to that color.

My handrail was painted by the previous owners and I want to strip it and stain the oak. Any advice on what to do use? I'm worried about using paint stripper in doors cause of the smell.

I thought you said you’re not trying to change the color? All those oils and water bases will enhance the color. My opinion it’s to rough for oldies oil to preform correctly. A 2k flat urethane will not change color. Must be applied by automotive spray gun. Good luck
