I worked at a company that walked a top performer out, the day he gave his two week notice, and didn’t pay him out. That started a trend where no one gave a notice.

I have seen this happen. They have to pay. We had a crew give one month notice they were leaving. The area manager got angry and fired them. They got two weeks and severance. The manager was demoted.
