Will never understand how Nolan is regularly cited as one of the greats. Sure, he has a great eye. But damn is he a BAD storyteller. His characters are only saved by GREAT actors. Just my opinion, which is obviously not the consensus, but Nolan does nothing for me. Only one I really loved was Dunkirk.

I totally agree that Dunkirk is one of the best war movies of the 21st century. But what do you think about Hacksaw Ridge?

okay.. I mostly agree with a lot of the takes but.. The prestige is absolutely insane and your take about it not being timeless is crazy.. imo the twist gets even more better the more you watch it imo it's like a 9/10 my top 4 is INCEPTION,TDK, interstellar, Prestige

Memento is his only really good movie. And Nolan is certainly not in the top 5 of working directors.

Dunkirk is absolutely awful film. I couldn’t give a toss what happens to any character. A personal opinion but it’s NOT a great film at all. I would never bother rewatching. I am not a big fan of Oppenheimer but I would watch that again.
