you could try to collaborate with someone that paints murals! that would be cool to do on some of the walls and then paint a solid color on the walls in between the murals.

Monday :
My grandma used spray glue and fabric on her walls. Had no idea until the remodel and mom was complaining about having to deal with the wallpaper, it came right off after 20 years of being up. Not great for a wall that will be touched a lot because of the cleaning factor but great for apartments or even in place of a wallpaper boarder.
