Al hibler sang the original at the same time so did Roy Hamilton … Todd Duncan dang it for a movie but this is not the version #1 it would have been in mono not stereo this is st best a re-recording they did not have this technology back then probably an AI version of Todd Duncan… all that being said it is pretty. Do yourself a favor and listen to Al and Roy’s version they didn’t keep perfect time with the time signature and that’s what it made the melody “unchained”

No one told me but I thought (Bobby Hatfield) was the original singer. I still like his rendition better. This one is pretty but not as pretty as Bobby's.

Wow ive never heard the original before. It is beautiful. The guy can definitely carry a tune. its amazing how things get lost through history. I like most people always thought Righteous Brothers was the original. 1955 - 2026 thats 71 years its been out & for 61 years the world forgot about it. How does that happen 🤔
