@itsmrskelly: The voice of Mr Skelly. This is my first ever attempt at giving our little friend here his voice. And I’m trying out a bit of a new format because, why not! Honestly with this short coming out soon I’m quite eager to figure out what works and what doesn’t and I’m testing the waters so I hope you enjoy it. “And when I stop having lots of birthdays, then I die?” My 4 year old asked me this today he’s been increasingly curious about death and what it means to be alive and he’s got me as his macabre father hahaha! I try to hold back tears when I talk to him about this stuff and then I remember all of the things that make my life, our life, what it is. What a miracle to be alive. I wish I could express to you all just how common death and grief really are. We put these things to the back of our minds as distant realities that break up the monotony of our lives but they are right next to us all of the time. And we don’t always know how to process the loss of a loved one, we often don’t. Heck, we don’t even know how to process living with loved ones! It’s all just a big exploration of figuring it out! But there are many, many people who are losing people all around us, and so if you see someone having a bad day, imagine the difficulty they might be enduring… love to you all and thank you for being here. #mrskelly #life #art #Love #hope
