In my personal opinion tanking is particularly miserable not because the devs balance them poorly but because teammates don’t understand how tank works. They never appreciate space you make and never use it. It’s like taking 37 bullets to the back to give your team a “do whatever you want” pass and they use it to spectate you get shot.

Idk what it is but this is only a problem in pc lobbies and im in gm rn. Lobbies are way more competitive on console even though everyone said pc was harder. Pc players are all scared and poke merchants

As an ex OW vet, it’s so frustrating seeing how bad the community is at a hero shooter. I get there’s people that have never played one but how did those same players make it out of bronze? Those that don’t know how to play should’ve never got out of gold but this game rewards playtime over skill so that’s why you have high ranked players not knowing how to take space, ult track, comm or have good mechanics or macro. Rivals has to rework ranked and make it as difficult as possible to climb.

These are my teammates all the time I’ll create space on Thor hulk or venom and sometimes even kill a support or two and I look back and there all staring up into the sky trying to kill Spider-Man who even if they do kill will be back in 5 seconds
