I have had several Dyson vacuums. Some worked better than others but my experience with the V15 Detect Total Clean Extra has been terrible. It makes the job of vacuuming, a job that is already bad, completely miserable. I think I know what the problem is. The ring in the bin does not seal properly and therefore the suction is compromised. The bin is low quality and poorly manufactured. This causes all the dirt to be sucked up into the top portion of the bin instead of staying below the fill line where it should be. I have to run the vacuum over several times before it picks up all pieces of dirt. I have gone through Dyson's tedious, painfully slow and technical problem plagued customer service process several times. You have to send photos of the issue and describe it before you can even start the process. Only certain types of photos and size of photos work with the system and it was a pain to comply with the system requirements. Dyson sent out new bins (same problem) and I even sent it to their service center for repair. They claimed everything was fine and sent it back to me with the same issues. I now hate vacuuming. I will never buy another Dyson.
