As a cabinet man of 35 years, it's just too boxy. In plain, a hood is a focal point, it needs flash, it needs pizzazz, it needs high-end trim detail. This does not deliver in my opinion. definitely to commercial looking

paint it with paint primer flat or very low mat. you will be fine.

Looks super cool… but like… when you need to replace it… you gotta make sure that the next one has the SAME EXACT MEASUREMENTS. TO THE T. Even a half inch off, that shit won’t fit in there.
