BC and AD are just a human attempt to impose order on that endless continuity, a rough line drawn through history to make it easier to talk about time, even though reality doesn’t care about our labels and simply keeps flowing, with civilizations rising and falling while cities stubbornly remain in the same place, collecting centuries like dust that never gets cleaned.
