My grandma would let me run around the yard with the neighbor’s kids for 3-4 hours, called me inside, got me nice and full with lunch, gave me a bath, did my hair, put on discovery kids and I was OUT, I would wake up to her watching TV in the room about 2 hours later and she had my merienda ready, a sandwich with some lemon or passion fruit juice she made daily, I loved summer at her house.
