Another very important thing about grids is that you can make them halfway into the design. At least that's how I have find them more useful. Meaning that if you start with a grid right away it can feel restrictive. And if you add none, it might look not intentional. But if you move things a little bit, change sizes and positions, kinda have a rought layout, you can use the strongest visual elements as grid builders. Then you adjust everything else to those elements and it will feel intentional. That's my grain of salt. Best! ☺️

I never use grids, maybe i should start doing that? I just don’t like following strict structure, it makes me focus more on the grid than the design itself

I love this for most people! Never once have I used a grid, heavy on the guidelines 😂😂😂

I’ve always used grids but it’s also super important not to know when to break from a grid so the visual flow and spacing of a layout stay simple and obvious.
