I never use grids, maybe i should start doing that? I just don’t like following strict structure, it makes me focus more on the grid than the design itself

I’ve always used grids but it’s also super important not to know when to break from a grid so the visual flow and spacing of a layout stay simple and obvious.

Unpopular opinion but I think grids will be unnecessary for a designer in a world of AI, they will just be there, I rather see the human messiness, mood, color, mistakes, think David Carson, but you're right as new designer it's important. ✌️
