I do not agree with you entirely. The conditions of that particular tyre will determine its longevity. You can buy a tyre with DOM 2025 but probably used for drifting and hard braking. U can’t use that tyre because it has about 5 years more to expire. Visual inspection is key and the brand too. Always buy Hancook or continental Tyres
