Many people love the story of Joseph because it ends in success. They see the palace, the authority, the honour, and the fulfilment of the dream. But what they often miss is the painful process Joseph endured before he arrived there. Joseph's life teaches us that God is more interested in preparing the person than simply delivering the promise. The dream may come quickly, but the preparation often takes years. The truth is this: God prepares the blessing before He releases it, and He prepares the person before He releases the blessing. BEFORE THE PALACE, THERE WAS A PIT! Many people admire Joseph's success, but few understand his process. God gave Joseph a dream, but before the dream was fulfilled, he went through 7 stages of preparation. 1️⃣ THE DREAM STAGE God showed Joseph his future greatness. (Genesis 37:5-11) Your destiny begins with a vision from God. 2️⃣ THE PIT STAGE His own brothers threw him into a pit. (Genesis 37:23-24) Sometimes rejection is part of God's redirection. 3️⃣ THE SLAVERY STAGE Joseph was sold into Egypt. (Genesis 37:28) What looked like loss was actually divine positioning. 4️⃣ THE SERVICE STAGE He served faithfully in Potiphar's house. (Genesis 39:1-6) Before God promotes you, He tests your faithfulness. 5️⃣ THE PRISON STAGE Joseph was falsely accused and imprisoned. (Genesis 39:20-23) Doing right does not always bring immediate rewards. 6️⃣ THE PROMOTION STAGE In one day, God changed everything. (Genesis 41:39-41) The prison door opened, and Joseph became governor. 7️⃣ THE FULFILLMENT STAGE The dream finally came to pass. (Genesis 42:6) Everything God promised was fulfilled. Listen carefully: If you're in the PIT, don't quit. If you're in the PRISON, don't give up. If you're in the PROCESS, keep trusting God. The same God who gave Joseph the dream had the power to fulfil it. Joseph said:
