this kinda looks like my room, tho mine is more pinky and girly with white princess dressers and stuff but since my mh had taken a toll recently its alot more messy and more uhh grimy? idk but yes rooms with such nice pinky girly aesthetic CAN be a depressing room too! thankfully i think im recovering well and im cleaning my room!

yeah as someone who does in fact bed rot when I first heard I got a little I got offended not from the fact that u said bed rotting but that fact u said "but aesthetic" and also leaving dishes everywhere and putting your clothes everywhere does not mean u bed rot? honestly you have a perfectly clean room and still bed rot ? I will give you the definition "Bed rotting refers to the act or practice of staying in bed all day (or for a prolonged amount of time), especially when feeling stressed, overwhelmed, etc., but also for the occasional pleasure of doing so." https://www.merriam-webster.com/ I really think u got people mad because u sounded like "go my room is so messy there's clothes everywhere there's dishes everywhere,oh my God i must! be bed rotting"

bedrotting is definitely a term that was originally used by depressed people to describe the feeling of being unable to quite literally move from bed to do anything (like doing dishes for example), but it has been co-opted by people online to just mean "feeling lazy today :3" so I can def understand the anger at how trivialized it's become, but that anger shouldn't be directed towards you. If anything, I think you used the term correctly; like just bc someone has an aesthetically pleasing room it doesn't mean they're immune to depression (and thus, to bedrotting). So maybe this is just a messy sim, or maybe they're depressed, either way you weren't in the wrong imo. Love your builds!!

I feel like people want representation and inclusion all the time but always argue when it's done not in the exact way they wanted too. I get it, depression is a very sensitive topic but this is just a room in the Sims, let's worry about those around us that are actually going through something. (this is my opinion, pls don't come at me)
