@gbnews: Iran's top joint military command says the Strait of Hormuz has been closed again after accusing the US and Israel of violating a ceasefire agreement. But the US Vice President, has told reporters there was no evidence that Tehran was closing the strait. It comes as Israel continued strikes in southern Lebanon, despite a ceasefire deal between Israel and the Hezbollah taking effect yesterday. Several people were reportedly been killed by Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon. The Lebanese state news agency said at least 11 people were killed after Israeli warplanes, drones, and artillery targeted more than a dozen areas. The Israeli military said it struck "Hezbollah terrorist targets" after the group fired over 50 projectiles at Israeli forces in southern Lebanon overnight. Washington fears that continued tensions between Israel and Lebanon could undermine the US peace deal with Iran, which includes a commitment to end fighting on "all fronts" including Lebanon. #StraitOfHormuz #Israel #Lebanon #Hezbollah #GBNews
