If we are in a simulation I have a note for the designer. It’s cruel to make a self aware creature that is aware of their surroundings and put them in a universe that is billions and billions of years old and will last for infinity then.. give them roughly 80 years on average. It’s not fair - I want to experience and learn more of the universe

The mistake is assuming that brain gives rise to mind. There's also the possibility that mind influences brain, which acts as a bradcaster/receiver. Morphogenic field theory, for example.

This is the whole reason science says we do not know if the cat is alive or the electron is a particle, etc., until observed, so they can claim we are just a simulation. How about science is a simulation.
