@minnisphotography: Five and a half hours. That’s how long I sat and waited for this one moment. I headed down to the river hoping to get a little closer than usual, taking my hide with me and going in with no expectations. Wildlife doesn’t work to a schedule. Most of the time, you go home with nothing but the experience of being outside. But every now and then, patience gives you something back. One brief moment. One photograph. One memory that will stay with me for a long time. I think that’s one of the reasons I love wildlife photography so much.
