STUART MAY SUTTON COLDFIELD SCOUT LEADER CHILD ABUSE In 2026, paedophile ex-scout master Stuart May, 82, had his prison sentence effectively doubled after being convicted of further historical child sex offences. Stuart May was originally jailed for over eight years in 2023 for abusing four boys in Sutton Coldfield during the 1970s. After he was locked up, three more victims came forward to expose his grooming tactics. He forced them through a trial, but a jury found him guilty of six counts of indecent assault and two counts of indecency with a child. A judge at Birmingham Crown Court handed him another eight years to run consecutively, completely quashing his upcoming parole. He most recently lived in Leicestershire.
