@offenceregister: NORWICH CSE GROUP INVESTIGATION NOT GUILTY PLEAS In 2026, seven men pleaded not guilty at Norwich Crown Court to charges of group-based child sexual exploitation. The defendants, who are Afghan nationals and refugees, are accused of numerous sexual offences against two victims in their early-to-mid teens between 2023 and 2025. Police arrested the suspects during coordinated raids across Norwich and Dumbarton, Scotland, confirming none lived or offended in asylum hotels. All seven men have been denied bail and remanded in custody until their trial in January 2027, while an eighth suspect awaits extradition from Ireland.
