This is normal. We always tidy our table, put dishes nesr the end and stacked for the waiters and push in our chairs when we leave

I lived in Japan for about 7 months. I got my hair down there and they let me bring a drink in because it was a 6 hour appointment. when it sweat all over the place, I asked to go to the bathroom and got paper towels to clean it up because I felt bad. and they told me I act japanese. all I could respond was "my mom taught me good manners" sjdheuwiw

I think the part that is hardest is remembering to say Gochisosama despite. I have gotten pretty decent at remembering itadakimasu, though.
